The Vector Computest automatic tablet testing unit checks tablets for hardness as they are produced in the press area. The tester is also used in product development where quality control is important. This is set up as a stand alone unit for single tablet testing. The tester works with a load measurement cell using the principle of the wire strain gauge. Equipped with a 40Kp (400 Newton) load cell. Capacity per minute: 15-20 tablets (depends on tablet diameter). Minimum diameter is 1mm, maximum diameter is 30mm.
